That’s it. Do you feel like you know me?
Bios on websites have always felt weird. I’ve always clicked on them to find out more about the person of the blog I’m reading or the brand I’m supporting, but in the end, most of the time they look like those 4 bullet points above.
So I’ll ask again, do you feel like you know me?
I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess the answer is no. Anyone can tell you their age, where they’re from, their religious background, and something they like to do.
People lack the capacity to get deep. It’s all surface level these days. So I decided to tell you some stuff that you never would be able to guess from those lame points at the top.
Here’s the good stuff:
I was born in Newport Beach on November 6th, 2001.
My mom’s name is Dena, and the most beautiful thing about her is her ability to make anyone feel comfortable in a social setting, and I envy it!
I have quite the villain origin story when it comes to how I am here existing on this planet, but regardless of that drama (a story for another time), I have 2 dads. And no, they’re not gay.
I have a younger brother named Trent, and he has the best laugh ever— plus he’s the funniest person I know.
I would legitimately die for my dog. He’s my best friend. He gets me like no other. If you think I’m kidding, you’re very, very wrong.
I’m married to a pretty cool guy, and I’m literally so in love with him it’s disgusting.
I clean when I’m angry or upset. Like dust the baseboards, windex the mirrors, vacuum the carpet, and scrub the toilet typa clean.
I have a plethora of tattoos, and I really want a couple more. I got one in Vegas once, and I can’t decide if I regret the decision or not. It was supposed to be a moon, but it kinda looks like a banana.
I love to film everything. I’m obsessed with memories and the feeling of nostalgia, and I look back on things with emotions that run so so deep sometimes I feel like they might swallow me whole.
My biggest fear is spiders, but my second biggest fear is never leaving a mark on the world. I’m trying to figure out where I stand in this life of mine, and I partially hope to do that by slowly making my way around the world. So far Italy has been my favorite.
The list of random facts goes on, but I’m sure you can use context clues to put more together if you read the blog.

When you look up Skylar Ernst, or Heredia, or Grush(!) on google, nothing of importance pops up. I’m no Alix Earle or Emma Chamberlain, and I certainly don’t have an online army loyal to an empire I’ve built out of blood, sweat, and tears. I’m practically a nobody.
A nobody with a website.
Even I can admit that it doesn’t make a ton of sense; but it doesn’t need to. I’m a firm believer that you don’t need to be a “somebody” to craft a persona to share with the world. There’s a certain freedom that comes with the territory of being a person that people could really care less about.
That’s all there is to it. I’m just a girl who likes to create— and write— and I decided to craft a space based on that simple fact.
I like the idea of someone unimportant creating the life they want.
And that’s exactly what this is.
So, this is my heart, and my words, and my life.
I hope you like it here.
